πŸ˜†Well it finally happened, we played pennants today! The Wattle Team took on Toukley at Kooindah Waters and had a very impressive win 6-1. The Banksia Team played at home against Gosford and put up a brave fight but alas went down    4 to 3. Well done ladies it was nice to play golf today even if it was a bit arctic.... Our next game is 1st May.  Have a happy Easter.

Stableford Game Thursday 6th April.

Stableford/Vets Ball Competition will take place tomorrow for those who wish to play. But be warned – the course is very wet! Jenny and I walked it this afternoon and found that all holes were affected in places, with the area in front of all tees very boggy. Please arrive early for your hit off time as there will be movements up the timesheet. Don’t forget, if you choose not to play, coffee/cake/lunch at the club from 11.30. There are still times available for next week’s Easter team event. This is always a fun event with lots of chocolate treats to be awarded. Colleen.

Everglades Open Charity Day Tuesday 11th April.

There has been a slight change to the format of our Open Charity Day in that there will only be one shot gun start held on the day. It is requested that all players arrive by 8:00 am for an 8:30 shot gun start. I hope this does not cause your groups any problems as I note that one of your groups had asked for an afternoon session. Your group will be starting as follows: ·          Kerrie McInerney; Colleen Henry; Veneice Higgin & Nell Spargo on the 5 th Tee ·          Marnie I'Anson; Charmaine Armbruster, Nancy Carey-Berryman & Christa Cleary on the 2 nd Tee ·          Moya   Allan; Anara Porter; Annette McInnes & Brenda Punter on the 16 th Tee. Look forward to seeing you on the day (I hope the Weather Gods are good to us!).

Interclub Match Play

As you are aware, the first two rounds of the Interclub Match Play have had to be cancelled due to weather and/or course conditions.   In an attempt to complete all matches, we have added an extra round on the 5th June, as well as adding an extra course on the original reserve day of 29th May. Many thanks to the clubs who have managed to fit us in at this late stage.   So, now we have 29th May...Morisset and Everglades                              5th June...Toukley and Gosford   We will make final decisions, as to which pool plays where, closer to the time. We realise this does extend the season an extra week but,  if we have no other cancellations, the competition can be completed fairly for all.
