CCWGA Interclub Match Play Congratulations to our Banksia team who beat Magenta 4-3 at Everglades today. This puts them one point off the lead with one round to go. Their final match will be at Gosford next Monday against Morisset at 9.30. Our Wattle team had the bye but results there have us running 3rd, 2 points behind leaders Everglades. The last match will be next Monday at Toukley against Kooindah at the later time of 9.30. Best of luck to both teams, with the Margin Shield still up for grabs.

3BBB Par Another magnificent day for golf and some of the scores matched the day! The winning team came in with +12 and, would you believe, one Michelle Hughes had 9 of those! On the card, which included no minuses, Michelle had 9 pluses and 4 squares. Great play Michelle and a handicap below 20 is just around the corner. It was wonderful today to welcome Cheryl Ledger back to playing in our  Thursday  comp. It was great to see you buzzing around in your little motorised cart. Also we had a visitor, Pam Roberts, from Gosford and two new local players, Annette Houtman and Sue Yule. We hope to see you back again. Next Thursday  will be our visit from ladies from Toukley. We will be supplying morning tea before hit off and also at the changeover. If you would like to display your culinary skills (or just bring something from the supermarket!) you may drop it in to the pro shop  on Wednesday  afternoon or bring it with you  on Thursday  morning. Well done ladies you're on a winning streak now 👏👏👏 Our Wattle team battled it out at Everglades against Morisset. Unfortunately going down 4-3. It was a really enjoyable day even with a loss. The 100s club is a part of our fundraising for charity throughout the year. Our recent draw saw four ladies win $25 each from the pool. The lucky winners were Mary Mathews, Di Ind, Nell Spargo and Judi Eaton.   Fundraising this week centered on our lovely mothers day raffle with chocolates and wines as prizes. Thankyou to president Cheryl for arranging this. Next week a new 100s club will open with the cost of $2 to purchase a number.

It was a miserable start to our games today with rain and wind, although finally the sun shined a little allowing at least  one layer to come off!!!! 💨💦😎🌂⛅🌞 The Wattle team played at Shelly Beach against Everglades going down 4-3 😞 This was certainly a great learning experience today. The Banksia team played at Magenta against Wyong winning 4.5-2.5. Congratulations on a great win 👏👏👏 Once again thank you to all ladies who represented us today.

What a beautiful day for 59 lady golfers 🌞. I love the ladies who had a great day but don't ask them about the golf!!! 😉 A stand out today was Cheryl baker who birdied the 3rd whole. This sounds great but to do it from the other side of the creek is awesome. Inter club match play was on again today. Our WATTLE TEAM had a great win at Gosford today playing Shelly Beach finishing with 4.5- 2.5 There were some tough battles to the end 👏👏👏 Our BANKSIA TEAM headed up to Morisset to take on Toukley. Some tough battles there too with them finishing Square. Well done to all ladies representing us today. ⛳

It was a slightly smaller field today with 45 ladies teeing off ⛳. Perfect conditions for golf today with the sun shining and the course was offering some nice run ................ did you make the most of it or not? Before I report on todays results we would like to Congratulate Michelle Lee and Colleen Henry on there fantastic 2nd Place in Canberra's Foursomes yesterday. Congratulations ladies you are making a name for yourselves down in Canberra "Wonderful Game " 👌👏. The Wattle Team took on Gosford at Morisset and had a great win 5-2. Gosford certainly   didn't go down without a fight as most teams played to the 18th! 😁 The Banksia Team played at Everglades against Everglades. This was never going to be easy playing your  opponent at home, the team went  down 6-1 Well done to all who played and for the ladies who stepped up to play for many who were absent today  Our next game is 8th May.
