Pennants Monday 21st May

Well we played hard but alas it was not to be 🙁 Wattle had a win today against Wyong  5 and  half to 1and half.  Well done girls.  Banksia unfortunately lost to Morisset 4 and half to 2 and half 😢. Below is the official results for the season.                ............................................ Once again, it was a close run thing in both pools. Congratulations to Kooindah, winners of the Wattle Pool on 10 points. Banksia Pool came down to the very last individual match. With Morisset winning today and Shelly squaring with Magenta, both finished on 8 points. Morisset are winners on a countback, 24 1/2 individual games to 24 for Shelly. The Margin Shield was also extremely close, with only half a point separating Morisset 4 1/2 and Kooindah 4.  Look forward to catching up  with everyone at the Pennant Presentation  on Monday, 25th June  at Breakers. The entry forms will be sent out this week. Regards,

Had a great time up at Bonville with my sister, Margaret, who is on a handicap of 4.2 (!) My golf didn’t really live up to all the challenges of the course although it was good to watch an expert in action. I did just manage to beat her playing match play but she did have to give me 16 shots! The meals were fantastic and we also got the chance to catch up with our brother, who lives less than 5km away. Many thanks to everyone for the opportunity. It is much appreciated.
