Breakers Ladies Golf Club Wamberal

 Another beautiful day out on the course, with yet again another large field. Its wonderful to see the numbers high and lots of familiar faces out there. It certainly was a welcome relief to play stableford after 3 weeks of stroke 😓. Our nine hole ladies are always a familiar sight at the back of the field bringing in some lovely scores. The temporary greens have been laid and will come into use around the 10th Sept. It will bring a new approach technique to our game I think with no elevation 😁. Breakers had 4 teams entered today at the Morisset Charity day. Amazing run on the course and that includes uphill 😂and greens were slick and fast 😁. Morisset scooped all the prizes for the 4BBB. However the Breakers girls took all 3 prizes for the Longest Drives. Div 1 Michelle Hughes, Div 2 Nancy Carey- Berryman and Div 3 Charmaine Armbruster.  Patti Beattie won Div 1 NTP on the 2nd hole.

The final round of our club championships was held yesterday. We had had three rounds with perfect weather conditions and the course certainly offered plenty of run. Thanks to the groundsman for a beautifully presented course.
