Thursday 25/06/20 Results

What a beautiful day out on the course. It certainly has dried out a lot since last week. Some overall good results. Congratulations Jeanice Gibson winning Div 1 and Jan Hoban winning Div 2 👏👏👏 Results: https://portalpreview.micropower.com.au/breakerscc/competition/prizes?CompetitionId=164401 Congrats to the raffle winners Viv Ball, Di Connolly and Sheryn Fuller 👌 Just a reminder next week we are raising money for Life Line on our Charity Day. Raffle tickets are  3 for $5 and  Cheat sheets are $5 each and no limit so dig deep ladies for a very important Charity. If you can"t play next week and would like to make a donation you can do a Direct Deposit to our Bank Account Details:    BSB 112-879  A/c No.  487 115 124 . Put your name and Lifeline as the reference details OR place your donation in a sealed envelope and place it in the box marked "CHARITY DAY DONATIONS".  Receipts will be issued for all donations received.

Charity Day Golf July 2nd.

We have great news we can now have Tee times at 7 min intervals on comp days. This means more ladies can play on July 2nd. I have already added the ladies who contacted me to go on the waiting list for the Charity Day. Please check your tee times as they have all changed. If any others would like to be added please book online. We are very disappointed we haven’t been able to promote our Charity Day in our normal way, particularly as this year our Club had the responsibility of nominating a charity for the whole District. Charmaine and other committee members had put in a lot of work liaising with several charities before we decided on Life Line Direct Central Coast. We are passionate about supporting Mental Health and Life Line Direct throughout the Central Coast, particularly in the current climate. We are hoping to be able to give a sizeable donation from our Club together with all Clubs in the District in August this year. As we can't do all the usual things e.g basket raffle

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

It is with much regret that we have to inform you that we have received a resignation letter from our President, Charmaine. She has resigned from both her position as President and as a member of the committee, effective immediately. We thank her for her extensive contribution and enthusiasm in the role, wish her well and look forward to seeing her on the golf course. For the rest of the golfing year, Vice President Colleen Henry will be acting President and Jeanice Gibson will move to the Vice President role.

Ladies Results

Congratulations to the winners and what a success having our Raffle back. The sun was shining but the golf was hard for most from the feedback we had. Charity Day is full however  we are hoping to open up 14 more spaces if we get back our 7min time slots next week. If anyone wants to be on the waitlist please text Michelle Hughes. Update from your Committee

Hi ladies your committee had their monthly meeting yesterday and the following information includes important updates. As your all aware LifeLine is our chosen Charity this year and even though we have not been able to raise funds we are going to hold a Charity golf day on the 2nd July. This will run as a normal Thursday with a raffle in conjunction. We are going to make it a teams event to bring a bit of fun to it. There will be a book in sheet to put your team down in the Pro -Shop tomorrow and the following week if spots are still available. This will mean there is no need to book on line or through the Pro-shop at 4pm tomorrow 18th June for the fortnight. The raffle on the day will be 3 for $5 and cheat sheets for $5 will also be available. For those that don't get to play on the day please feel free to contact a committee member to purchase raffle tickets on or before the day. If you also would like to make a donation this would be greatly appreciated. We have had a few in

Update from the Committee.

There are a few items we want to bring you up to date with this week. Continuous Comp Fees:   Due to the uncertain times at present & having to cancel golfing events we have made the decision to carry forward any continuous comp fees paid at the beginning of our golfing year to 2021. If anyone would prefer to have their payment refunded please contact a committee member and we will arrange this. Membership Renewal: As some ladies may want to renew their Golfing Membership when they are at the Club on Thursday here is some information that may help – Now that the Club is open it is a good idea to transfer any points on your card to the Pink Pearl EFTPOS Card.  This can be done at the kiosk upstairs near the gaming room.  If you wish to use the balance on your Pearl Awards card to go towards your membership please note that the balance on your card is not known at reception.  You will need to know your balance before making payment.  Please also note that transfer of p

Message From Kooindah

Hi Ladies, Please could you forward this information to your lady members.  I hope you have managed to all keep safe and well over the last few months during this crazy time.  It has been a useful time to take stock and take a forced 'time out' from our busy lives, and appreciate the simple things in life.  The Kooindah Open Day was scheduled for Fri 27th March and had to be postponed until later this year. As yet we have not finalised a date, but intend to hold the event in Oct/Nov.  It is anticipated that the Covid-19 regulations will be more relaxed towards the end of the year and we can include a presentation on the day. When a date has been set, the clubs and registered participants will be informed.  Keep washing those hands and social distancing!! Happy golfing and look forward to catching up with you all soon. Susan Martin (Kooindah Waters)

Apologies Thursday 4th June

Sorry for the late post just trying to sort out a few Micro power  issues. 😡Comp is complete however balls haven't been been posted due to a Micro power issue! I am working with Micro power to sort this out and will let you know when fixed. Congratulations to Gabriella winning 1st Div with 34 points and Bev Milson winning Div 2 with 42 points 👏👏👏 Results: https://portalpreview.micropower.com.au/breakerscc/competition/prizes?CompetitionId=164398 See you next week Michelle 😎🚩

GOLF UPDATE

Hope you have enjoyed  playing competition again on Thursdays despite the wet track.  Its good that we have been able to add extra slots to fit in more players. We still have the waiting list in place.   So if anyone misses out on booking in please contact Chas and hopefully a spot will become available for you. Its good news that the Club is reopening today so now we will be able to go in to the Club after play with our group or any players up to a maximum of 10. The Club is open from 11am and the Café from 11.30.   A little bit of normality at last. Due to Covid 19 we and a lot of other Clubs in the  District have not been in a position to raise funds for Lifeline Direct, the charity we chose for the District in 2020. We wrote to the District Committee in March & again in May asking them to consider carrying our Charity forward to 2021.   Under the current circumstances Lifeline Direct need our donations more than ever. The District held their first meeting l
