Update from your Committee

Hi ladies your committee had their monthly meeting yesterday and the following information includes important updates.

As your all aware LifeLine is our chosen Charity this year and even though we have not been able to raise funds we are going to hold a Charity golf day on the 2nd July. This will run as a normal Thursday with a raffle in conjunction. We are going to make it a teams event to bring a bit of fun to it. There will be a book in sheet to put your team down in the Pro -Shop tomorrow and the following week if spots are still available. This will mean there is no need to book on line or through the Pro-shop at 4pm tomorrow 18th June for the fortnight. The raffle on the day will be 3 for $5 and cheat sheets for $5 will also be available. For those that don't get to play on the day please feel free to contact a committee member to purchase raffle tickets on or before the day. If you also would like to make a donation this would be greatly appreciated.

We have had a few inquiries about our Club Championships. Due to the restricted numbers we can have play it is only fair to postpone the club champs in August. At this stage we will wait to see if we will be able to hold this event later in the year.
We are holding the Foursomes Championships on the 24th September with approval to have groups of six to tee off together, so please add this to your calendar.

To keep all on an even playing field and everyone on the same page please note that when putting, the ball must come to a rest in the hole.

Our $1 raffle is back from tomorrow. The normal sheet will be there to fill in with a sealed box for the money. Please be aware there will be no change available so please have the right amount. Numbers are $1 each. We will do the draw in the afternoon and post the winners in the results.

Sand buckets will be handed out to all members renewing their membership this year. These buckets will be your property so feel free to write your name or membership number on it in case you drop or leave it behind. Please do not start tipping sand in the carpark at the end of your round please use the sand bin available at the 1st tee.

Lastly due to ladies writing in raffle numbers and permanent markers being available to write on the sand buckets please sanitise your hands on the way into the Pro-shop and on the way out.

Regards
Your Golf Committee
