Breakers Ladies Golf Club Wamberal

 What a lovely day for golf. 28 Ladies played 18 holes and 2 ladies played 9 holes. The outstanding result of the day was Merrilyn Le Quesne with 42 points closely followed by Veneice Higgin with 41 points. Reminder that next week will be a 9 hole competition run by Nicky with prizes from Nicky. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

 Competition fee for the Summer comp will be $15 for 9 holes and 18 holes ball comp. All birdies, gobblers and NTP for the 2nd hole go towards the continuous comp for the first 9 holes. The eclectic will also be recorded for the first 9 holes. Henderson Golf will be sponsoring the birdie and gobbler competition, so please indicate on your card if you had either a gobbler or birdie on the first 9 holes only.  If you are the last group for the day please pick up the NTP on the first 9. Finally please scan and leave your cards with Nicky in the Pro shop at the end of your round. There will no presentation at the end of the event however please come in and enjoy some lunch and a catch up in the club at the end of your round. Happy Golfing 😎🏌⛳.

Yesterday, at our AGM. During the proceedings of the meeting, a unanimous decision was made to honour long serving member, Jenny Chapman with Life Membership. Congratulations Jenny and thank you for all of your hard work and countless hours helping the club become what it is today!

  Last week we had our Charity/Christmas closing day. Once again the generosity of our club was amazing. We raised a total of $1245 for Coast Shelter. $565 for cheat sheets,  $530 raffles, $100 for the 100s club and a $50 donation.  The winning team was Chun, Bronwyn, Janice and Michelle H. Runners up were Aiki, Peggy, Sandra Nash and Viv. In third place was Sue Connor, Nancy C, Annette M and Chris B. Aiki Harrigan also had a Hole in 1 on the 13th 👏👏👏 Congratulations!!! Congratulations to Charmaine Armbruster winning the Periwinkle Cup in honour of Charles 'Chas' Henderson. Charmaine will be presented the cup at the presentation night being held in February next year. Another congratulations to Jill Lavery representing Breakers in the district at Stonecutters Ridge for the GNSW Medal play offs. Jill won the Nett for Div 2. Wishing Everyone a Merry Christmas 🎄🎅
