Thursday 23rd Aug Stableford

 Another beautiful day out on the course, with yet again another large field. Its wonderful to see the numbers high and lots of familiar faces out there. It certainly was a welcome relief to play stableford after 3 weeks of stroke 😓. Our nine hole ladies are always a familiar sight at the back of the field bringing in some lovely scores.

The temporary greens have been laid and will come into use around the 10th Sept. It will bring a new approach technique to our game I think with no elevation 😁. Mel Sheekey's approach is plain and simple just land it from the tee 💪

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December.
