Breakers Ladies Golf Club Wamberal

Hello Ladies   A big thank you to everyone for making our Charity Day such a success. You were all very generous with your time, baking, and supplying great prizes for our raffle. Our club has always been very good at getting into the spirit of the occasion and generally working together and today was no exception. A little more money has come in since this afternoon so you will be pleased to know that we raised $1666.10 to be donated to the District charity Dooralong Transformation Centre. The golf Gods were on our side today putting on spectacular weather and the run was back for a lot of the fairways. This is an automatic process now and the blue card is just for your reference of a great WIN and how much you received. Our Charity Day is next week so don't forget your hamper donations and or baking and jarring those favourite recipes. The Bowlers doors will be open from 7am on the day to drop of your donations before golf. Bring your money for cheat sheets for your golf game, raffle tickets and baked goods.

Ladies district Foursomes @ Shelly Beach. Winners are grinners!!  * Div 2 scratch champions, Patti and Bronwyn with a great score of 104 (75 nett)  🏆 🏌️‍♀️ * Div 2 nett runner up, Jan Hoban and Kerry Moore with a nett score of 78. * As always, we had a raffle winner, Michelle Lee in the  💯  club  💰   * Balls for Jen Chapman and Mel, Colleen Henry and Nell Spargo. Patti Derksen Beattie  is retiring from full time work and joining the pro tour 

Shelly Beach Salver, Bowl and long markers Classic: Jan Portelli  3rd in the long markers division with 37 points Ann Glance 3rd 2nd Division Gross Judi Eaton , Michelle Collyer, Ann and Jan picked up a ball. Everglades Salver,Bowl and Long Markers Classic: Jenny Chapman was runner up in Division 1 Nett 77 Michelle Hughes  NTP on the 12th Div 1 Jenny Chapman Longest Drive 1st Div Colleen Henry  picked up a ball for 8th place in 2nd Division.

Well, that was a tough day in the office to say the least 😟. The course was very soggy so landing on the fairway was an essential part of the game today. Where it landed is pretty much where it stayed making it a long day. Thankfully the weather was amazing which made the day bearable 😎 Congratulations to Mel Sheekey and Charmaine Armbruster winning the monthly medal for the second month in a row.
