Not sure how or why, but two ladies finished 18 holes in the heat today, with Ella Merritt managing 36 points. Wow! Thanks to all those who have paid their fees for the continuous comps. The Wyong Classic and Long Markers Shield will be held on Friday 20th March. It is an 8am Shotgun Start. The Classic is a Stroke event for those on handicaps of  25.6 or less. Those over 25.6 play Stableford. The entry fee is $30. Ladies events in our District have been filling up fast this year so if you are interested in playing, please see Nell this Thursday. 

With Opening Day fast approaching, it is time to start thinking about paying fees for the Yearly competitions. To avoid the rush on 6th February, you may like to pay Deanne or Jeanice either this Thursday 23rd, or next, the 30th. 1. Jess Tame turning 100!!! Many of you will remember Jess Tame, one of our Lady Patrons. She is living at Saratoga now, is still very independent  and has recovered well from a small stroke a few months ago. Her 100th birthday is on January 16th. To celebrate this amazing milestone, her family are having an open day on Sunday 12th January from 11am to 4pm at 140 Broadwater Drive, Saratoga. Golf girls are welcome to pop in and have a chat to the birthday girl, have a glass of wine/cup of tea/whatever, and a bite to eat. Perhaps you would rather have a chat on the phone. Hi Ladies, We have received the entry forms for the Toukley Classic to be held on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th of March. Apparently, it is filling up fast so Nell has kindly offered to take any Breakers entries tomorrow after golf. This is a 36 hole singles stroke event, with separate daily events on both the Monday and Tuesday.  If you elect to play both days it costs $40, or $25 for one day.
