Breakers Ladies Golf Club Wamberal

 Well it was a Christmas Fun Day today!! We had everyone decked out in their finest Christmas gear. The weather wasn't too bad - it was hard to tell if we were wet from the rain, or wet from the humidity. The winners today were: Aiki, Sandra, Viv and Peggy Second were: Pauline, Jan C, Sue Carter and Elaine Third were : Chris B, Moya, Monica and Carol The Christmas Raffle today was a big success. Thanks to Linda and her helpers for organising this.  Colleen assisted by Bronwyn (in her game show hostess role) ran the Secret Santa. This, as always, was a lot of fun. That's a wrap for another year. See you all at the AGM next week - 10:30 am start.

 There was a bag left after the presentation today with a shirt and earrings in it. If it's yours, Jeanice has it.

 It was a sea of PERIWINKLE today, honoring Charles. Thank you ladies for this wonderful effort. Congratulations to today's winners:  Michelle Hughes 38 points Sue Frankham 38 points Charmaine Armbruster 37 points. Next week, XMAS GAME! Dress up! Countdown Stableford, shot gun start 7 for 7.30.  Raffle and Kris Kringle afterwards.  Well, we finished without getting wet!!  A small field had great results. Congratulations to Kerry Rose with an outstanding 41 in Division 2!! Also well done to Briohny with 37 and Elaine with 35, Division 1 and 3 winners. Next week is the Periwinkle Cup. Wear your periwinkle colours and help us acknowledge Charles and his ongoing presence in our club. Don't forget to get your team together for Closing Day on 28th. Wear your Christmas gear and buy that funny Kris Kringle.

 Hi ladies, There are three important dates to remember for our golfing calendar. 28th November is our Closing Day. It's a Team of 4 event (Countdown Stableford). Fancy dress is optional. Following this game, there will be a raffle for 1/2 hams, Chrismas cakes, chocolates and nuts. Each player will be given one (1) ticket. After that we will be holding our annual Kris Kringle. If you want to be in it, bring along a wrapped mystery gift to the value of $20. 21st November is the Periwinkle Cup day for ladies. Wear something in periwinkle colours for the day in honour of Charles and Stomach Cancer. Ladies can also play in this event on Saturday 23rd November. The best ladies' score for the week will win. 5th December is our AGM and Presentation Day, followed by lunch. The AGM will commence at 10:30 am.
