Breakers Ladies Golf Club Wamberal

 Hi Ladies, We have postponed the Foursomes to the 26th June ( it was a Canadian foursomes in the calendar.) This Thursday we are offering a 9 hole competition as the main event of the day. If you wish to play 18 you will need to let either Aiki or Nicky know so we can add an 18 hole comp .  The timesheet is still the same as we put it on for the foursomes . IF you do not want to play please take yourself out using the portal.  We will still meet for coffee etc on Thursday if there is no play.  Judi will need to organise the next pennants match. 

 Although it was a very small player field today the sun was shining and was a great day for golf. Yes the course was wet in some places but not terrible. Congratulations to Janice Adlard who won division 1, and Sarah Daniels who won divsion 3 today. Ball winners were Kerrie Mc, Sandra Nash and Laraine Robertson. 48 Ladies started playing and 14 finished 18 holes. It was a little bit wet. Congratulations to Sally, Janice, Michelle and Bronwyn for winning overall. The bubbles, hot cross buns and chocolates were demolished by the ravenous ladies. Thank you to Jane for organising all the chocolate bunnies and hampers.  Next week is Par and the following week is our 27 hole foursomes championships. If you wish to play either championships or the 18 hole daily event please contact Aiki.

 Tomorrow is our Easter Fun day, Shotgun start 7.30 for 8. Please be ready to move to your tee at 7.45 The game is a Countdown Stableford: You will have one card only and your team names and correct handicaps will be on it.  To score : ONE best score only on the par 3's , TWO best scores only on the par 4's and THREE best scores on the two par 5's. PLEASE pick up if you cannot better a score. Please keep up with the group in front!!! NTP's will be for the whole team ( first shot only on 6/15) We want a fast game so we can get in to enjoy Hot cross buns and sparkling wine orange juice and chocolate. There will be a raffle for Easter hampers. IF IT RAINS and we cannot play we will still celebrate Easter from 11am. We will organise activities and hold extra raffles for the Easter goodies we have for daily prizes. See you at the course all nice and early. 

Today we had a tough day with our Monthly Medal, Congratulations to Alison, Sandra and Debbie for winning the Monthly Medal and Michelle for winning gross over the field. Next week is our Easter Fun day with a shotgun start 7.30 for 8 am.  Remember to dress up as there will be a prize for the best dressed.  It will be a countdown stableford.  Everyone will have a  card to show each player what they score on each hole.  BUT only fill out the team card and hand that in.  No app will be used. 1 score on the par threes. 2 scores on the par 4s and  3 scores on the par 5s.
