Breakers Ladies Golf Club Wamberal

Thursday.  We are playing stroke and a monthly medal. The course is getting drier but will still have a short 8th /17th.  We are playing the temporary course which means we can handicap.  There will be two divisions only as our numbers are down. Division 1 will be up to 30 daily handicap and division 2 31 to 45.  However NTPs will be as normal with 3 divisions.  The following week will be Stableford.

Breaking news  Further breaking news.  After our committee meeting yesterday we have made the following changes to our playing calendar.  The Stableford shootout has been moved to 2nd October.  The pink day is the 9th October  Club Championships are 25thSeptember 16 th October  23rd October  September games will be: 4th September Stableford and Vets Ball(and 9 holes Stableford) 11 th September Stableford and 9 hole Stableford  18th September Par and 9 Hole Stableford and vets  Ball  We hope to have a much better September 👍😀👍🙏🙏🙏

BREAKING NEWS After a committee meeting today we have abandoned August for club champs.  They will now be held  Thursday 25th September,  Thursday 16th October  Thursday 23rd October  A new entry sheet will be circulated early September.  The first two weeks of October are when Golflink will be moving to GolfAustralia Connect and handicap games will be put on hold. We will schedule team games for those two weeks ( pink day now 9th October)  August games have been changed to Stableford and a 9 hole comp has been added as well.  28th August will be the August Monthly Medal.  Tomorrow’s timesheet is unchanged but you are able to pull yourself out if you don’t wish to play.  Also if you are attending Kath Porter’s Funeral on Saturday please wear your club shirt if possible.  Hope to see some of you on the course tomorrow 🤞

Weather permitting, I've put a hold on some Greens for lawn bowls.  Hopefully our tutors will be willing to assist again. Pay $12 at reception, order your coffee and head on down to our usual room around 11am. Bowls will be supplied. Spectators welcome ☺
