Stableford + Vets Ball + Challenge Cup Qualifier 8 October 2015

48 members competed today in perfect golfing conditions as is reflected by the scores. Jenny has been commenting that we have had the lowest Stableford scores of any year - so it was good to get a good number of exceptional scores today as we near our Stableford Shootout which takes place on Monday 26 October. Please note that there is still next week to get that exceptional score so you can be in contention for the Stableford Shootout!  Results for today were:

Division 1.   Winner.     Sally Hopkins (14) with 40 points
                     2nd.          Jenny Chapman (21) with 39 points

Division 2.   Winner.    Michelle Lee (28) with 40 points
                     2nd.         Annette McInnes (31) with 38 points

Division 3.   Winner.    Di Jackson (45) with 43 points
                     2nd.         Helen Ingle (39) with 41 points

Next week is our Annual General Meeting at 1 30pm. You will need your membership card to gain entry.  It is a shotgun start so it is important that we all be at the Pro Shop ready to go to our starting holes no later than 7 10am.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December.
