CONGRATULATIONS TO JOAN O'CONNELL OAM!!
Our hearty CONGRATULATIONS to Joan O'Connell who has received an OAM for service to golf in the Australia Day Honours list. For those who are not aware, Joan has been deeply involved in golf administration for over 40 years! Apart from extended time in numerous roles on club committees, first at Gosford and then at Terrigal, Joan was on the District Committee for over thirty years, many as President. She is now a Life Member of Central Coast Women's Golf Association.
Joan was also on the State committee. She spent many years touring the State rating golf courses and helping to run tournaments. She is now an Honorary Member of GNSW.
