The day started out a bit iffy for some. However for those that took the plunge they didn't regret it. Today 32 ladies made their way round with some new faces at the top of the leader board. Some ladies needed more practice with the putting so out came the putters in the club.😀 Thanks to Breakers for adding some fun for our rainy days...........stay tuned. After a long time between games for the two day Toukley Classic, today we finally have a result................... and we have a Division 2 Champion. A big congratulations to Nell Spargo or also known as SPRAYGO! On a beautiful day some keen Breakers Seniors  headed to Wyong for a game of Stableford.  As you can see by the scores it was a real challenge.  The greens were grease lightning and the pins in very tricky positions. Oh well it was a beautiful day🌞🌷🌞. Due to the very wet state of the course we have decided to change the event this Thursday 22nd June from Stroke to Stableford. It will be a handicapped event remembering that 8 players are required to constitute an event. Check with the Pro shop re-tee off times as you may be able to or required to tee off earlier. A word of advice from Wayne  --  Don't wear white!! Coffee/cake/lunch from 11.00 for those deciding on a drier option! Cheers Colleen

It will not be a Par Event. It will be our Stroke Monthly Medal that was to be held today. Also the Country Championships for Vets will be held in conjunction.

Over 100mm in the last 24 hours has left the course extremely wet, with puddles everywhere and fit only for birds!  However, if you still wish to play tomorrow, we have changed the event to a singles stableford. Since the bunkers will be out of play, the event will not be handicapped. Also note that we need at least 8 players for a competition and there will be no ntps. If you choose not to play, the usual meeting for coffee/lunch is on from 11.00am. Colleen and Jenny

It just wasn't meant to be for Breakers today with both teams going down 5-2 in the final round of the CCWGA Interclub Match Play. However, both results contributed greatly to the final outcome of each pool.  In Banksia, Morisset beat us and, with Toukley beating Shelly, Morisset were declared the winners of the pool. In Wattle, Everglades were beaten by Gosford, which meant that by beating us, Kooindah won the pool. Morisset were also declared the winners of the Margin Shield. Congratulations to those clubs and well done to all our players, who were in with a chance right up to the final day. We hope to see all players at the Match Play presentation at Breakers at 10am on Monday, 19th June.

Well the weather report warned us of a cold morning and we would all agree no matter what time we teed  off our winter woolies were a must  ⛄. We welcomed the ladies from Toukley today, bringing our numbers up to 68. Everyone agreed the midway morning tea was beautiful....................word has it this won't be happening every week 😂🍰☕.
