Inter Club Match Play Final Round

It just wasn't meant to be for Breakers today with both teams going down 5-2 in the final round of the CCWGA Interclub Match Play.

However, both results contributed greatly to the final outcome of each pool. 

In Banksia, Morisset beat us and, with Toukley beating Shelly, Morisset were declared the winners of the pool.

In Wattle, Everglades were beaten by Gosford, which meant that by beating us, Kooindah won the pool.

Morisset were also declared the winners of the Margin Shield.

Congratulations to those clubs and well done to all our players, who were in with a chance right up to the final day.

We hope to see all players at the Match Play presentation at Breakers at 10am on Monday, 19th June.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December.
