Hope everyone is looking forward to our Easter Fun Day on Thursday and that you have decided on the 3 clubs you will be playing with along with your putter. So apparently a bit of rain scares away most ladies from playing golf ☔. Seven brave souls tee'd off between 7.30 and 8am and yes we did get wet, and yes the greens did have lot of water on them at times, and yes my hair went curly from the wet. All this and still not enough ladies for a comp.................... Then alas Sally and Chun saved the comp for the day So for some it was game on and then we had some that couldn't handle being damp in places I can't mention but Im sure you get the idea 😁 Please find attached evidence of one young lady throwing in the towel and heading home for a warm shower. Wyong held their 25th Anniversary classic today. The course was in great condition and it was lovely to putt on a smooth surface😎.  Walking into the club house after a very HOT 18 holes was a welcome relief. We were very spoilt with a hot lunch followed by dessert. A new course record was set by Kim Burke with a 73. Thank you Wyong you put on a lovely day for all. A very hot and humid day for our 56 ladies. Some handled it better than others, like Christa Cleary who had 4 a 5 on the 9th. I was told she had a beautiful 3rd shot onto the green and putted it in for 4. Great hole Christa. Then we had the team shown below who had three out of their four balls land in the same bunker. We had 13 teams playing our Ambrose event. If playing on our cored greens wasn't challenging enough, adding in playing off the men's tees on the 8th and 9th certainly had some of our ladies a little frazzled. When your handicap isn't going to be affected and you're doing it for your team all the ladies gave it a good crack and some actually surprised themselves.
