CCWGA NEWS.


Hi Ladies,

As I mentioned at the AGM last week, a few ladies from Gosford and the CCWGA were invited to afternoon tea at the Dooralong Transformation Centre on Friday.

We were shown the golf cart (photos attached) that has been purchased with the $13,500 the district ladies raised for the charity this year. It was great to see where our money has gone, and they are extremely grateful for the very generous donation which is already being used all the time to transport people and goods around the grounds.
 
The scones and jam and cream were amazing too!

Fyi...check out the plaque they have attached in our honour. Also note the number plate which is in honour of a special member of their organisation who has successfully been through  their program, now lives on site and volunteers his time every day to help others in need.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December.
