WET WEATHER READING

1. GREEN PEGS

Some of you will have noticed the green pegs which have now been placed in garden areas (GUR) where you are allowed to drop without penalty. Any other garden area is not GUR so therefore you must play from where your ball finishes.

2. MEMBERS PORTAL

You will recall that several weeks ago, the portal was not accessible for tee bookings etc. You may have received a message saying that your password is invalid. PLEASE IGNORE THIS IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. It is an occasional issue which Micropower need to fix and may take a day.

3. VETS BALLS

Please add a vets ball event to the following days in your calendar ...

April 8th

May 13th

June 17th

July 29th

September 16th

October 14th

November 11th

4. EASTER FUN DAY  ....  FOOLS DAY

Since our Easter Fun Day coincides with April Fools Day (in honour of Bronwyn whose birthday it is!),

we are going to hold a new event.

It will be a Team of 4 and this time all players must finish out on each hole, unless you have no shots left. Each player will be assigned a letter, either A,B,C or D, on the team card.

When you finish each hole, you need to record all stableford scores and then on the next tee, you will find an instruction note to tell you how to total your scores.

eg.  If you have stableford scores as follows  A 2, B 3, C 1, D 0

and your note says (AxB) + C + D then you have (2x3) +1+0 = 7 points for the hole.

The note will be different on each of our nine holes. Try not to be a fool!!
