SUMMER COMP RESULTS

This year we decided to try some different continuous events during the summer comp. As presented today, the winners are as follows.

Most events were for the first nine, so that all players were involved.

Best first nine  - Alison Bone 21 points c/b  Runner Up Christa Cleary 21 points

Best 9 hole point score - Janice Adlard 9 points

Best front nine stableford eclectic - Janice Adlard (a wonderful 26 points)

Most Birdies - Janice Adlard 2 (on 1st and 9th)

Most Gobblers- No-one had 2 so balls go to all those who had 1 - Kerrie McInerney, Jenny Fletcher,    Gill Wilson, Janice Adlard and Di Laws.

Some ladies did play 18 holes regularly, with results as follows.

Best 18 hole score - Kerrie McInerney  38 points   Runner Up  Chris Whalan 37 points

18 hole point score - Chun Kim  10 points


Congratulations to all winners. Money has been added to your member card. Actual balls were presented today, so ask for yours next week, if you weren't there!!

Christmas Fun Day

 Well it was a Christmas Fun Day today!! We had everyone decked out in their finest Christmas gear. The weather wasn't too bad - it was hard to tell if we were wet from the rain, or wet from the humidity. The winners today were: Aiki, Sandra, Viv and Peggy Second were: Pauline, Jan C, Sue Carter and Elaine Third were : Chris B, Moya, Monica and Carol The Christmas Raffle today was a big success. Thanks to Linda and her helpers for organising this.  Colleen assisted by Bronwyn (in her game show hostess role) ran the Secret Santa. This, as always, was a lot of fun. That's a wrap for another year. See you all at the AGM next week - 10:30 am start.

Pink Day 2024

  Pink Day 2024 has been an enormous success!! The room was a sea of pink shirts and pink balloons, as was the course. Congratulations to Nicky, A. J., and Michelle for all their hard work in putting this day on for us to enjoy. The prizes were absolutely amazing.  The mini quiches and coffee after 9 were very much appreciated (and we think that should be a permanent feature!) The day was won with a fantasitc 94 points (on a countback) by Michelle, Monica, Deanne and Colleen. The raffle raised a massive $635 which will go to the McGrath Foundation.Thanks to everyone for their generosity. Jan Gee was the lucky winner.

Mounties Presentation

 On Firday night Mounties held their annual presentation noght for their Sub Clubs at Mt Pritchard. Our Club Champion Michelle Hughes was presented with her trophy. OurFoursomes winners Michelle Hughes and Bronwyn Dwyer also received their trophies. The Runners up trophies were also presented to Aiki and Peggy. Lance Harrigan was presented with his Life Membership
