EVERGLADES DEATH BY CHOCOLATE RESULTS

What a lovely sunny day, and how good was the course. It was great to get back to golf after so much wet weather. In fact, can you believe that we are in April and it was almost too hot, especially for those who were walking.

And to top it off, there were so many Breakers winners, I had to get a copy of the result sheets. We couldn't keep up with all the announcements!

The stars of the day included....

Gillian Wilson 1st in B Grade  with 38pts

Wendy Rogers 1st in C Grade with 33c/b

Charmaine Armbruster 1st in D Grade with 40pts

Debbie Smith, Cheryl Baker, Colleen Henry, Sheryn Fuller and  Brenda Punter won balls in the singles.

In the team event, Di Rudd, Debbie Smith, Charmaine Armbruster and Raelene Biddolph came 4th with 84

Team ball winners were

Gill Wilson, Trace O'Meara, Vicki Duesbury and Jill Lavery 6th with 83

Judi Eaton, Nareda Leary, Cheryl Baker and Michelle Collyer were 8th with 81

Brenda Punter, Andrea Leal, Christa Cleary and Sandra Kunze were 9th with 80.

No surprise also to tell you that we almost scooped the pool in the raffle, with numerous Breakers prize winners.

I'm sure it was a great day for all. 

Now we just have to hope for a continuation of this weather so we can enjoy our Easter team event on Thursday. Any changes we'll let you know.

Pink Day 2024

  Pink Day 2024 has been an enormous success!! The room was a sea of pink shirts and pink balloons, as was the course. Congratulations to Nicky, A. J., and Michelle for all their hard work in putting this day on for us to enjoy. The prizes were absolutely amazing.  The mini quiches and coffee after 9 were very much appreciated (and we think that should be a permanent feature!) The day was won with a fantasitc 94 points (on a countback) by Michelle, Monica, Deanne and Colleen. The raffle raised a massive $635 which will go to the McGrath Foundation.Thanks to everyone for their generosity. Jan Gee was the lucky winner.

Christmas Fun Day

 Well it was a Christmas Fun Day today!! We had everyone decked out in their finest Christmas gear. The weather wasn't too bad - it was hard to tell if we were wet from the rain, or wet from the humidity. The winners today were: Aiki, Sandra, Viv and Peggy Second were: Pauline, Jan C, Sue Carter and Elaine Third were : Chris B, Moya, Monica and Carol The Christmas Raffle today was a big success. Thanks to Linda and her helpers for organising this.  Colleen assisted by Bronwyn (in her game show hostess role) ran the Secret Santa. This, as always, was a lot of fun. That's a wrap for another year. See you all at the AGM next week - 10:30 am start.

Mounties Presentation

 On Firday night Mounties held their annual presentation noght for their Sub Clubs at Mt Pritchard. Our Club Champion Michelle Hughes was presented with her trophy. OurFoursomes winners Michelle Hughes and Bronwyn Dwyer also received their trophies. The Runners up trophies were also presented to Aiki and Peggy.
