Results Round 2 champs

Today we have luckily been able to complete the second round of the championships, with very little rain.

Congratulations to everyone who played and special congratulations to those who appear below as winners of the Veterans Championships, which were finalised today. 

Look forward to the final round next week.

Don't forget that after golf next week, at about 2pm, we are holding a special meeting to pass the new By-Laws of our club. These were published on the blog last week, and there is a hard copy in the blue folder outside the golf office. Please read them prior to the meeting. These needs to be passed prior to our AGM, which has been moved to Presentation Day. Also, please remember that nominations for committee will open 3 weeks before the AGM.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
