 Yes, there were 10 brave ladies who played 9 holes and didn't get too wet!

Congratulations to Deanne Curby who managed to beat Jane Lumsdon on a countback with 15 points.

Coffee was well anticipated and much enjoyed.

3 balls were awarded.

A reminder that our opening day is 9th February. This will be a Team of 4. best 2 scores to count. Shot gun start, 7am for 7.30 tee off.

Bookings will open the week before.

Next week, Australia Day, Nicky is running a 9 hole pro comp. Entries open as usual this afternoon.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
