 Gosford Ladies Open Day 9th May 2023

The committee ladies are pleased to announce that our Open Day is FULL 144 ladies!!!!!
Deb our President has collected from local businesses some amazing prizes. I have my eye on quite a few I’d love to win. So bring your cash with you.
Raffle tickets $5 for 3 or $10 for 7
There will be two male members selling tickets out on the course so take your cash out with you. If you miss out or want
more there will be tickets sold in the clubhouse afterwards.
There’s also a Pro drive on the 10th. Sam from the pro shop will hit your team drive for $2pp = $8 a team.
Of course, all proceeds go to the charity Coast Shelter.
Lunch is a buffet – a vegetarian soup or Moroccan chicken soup and also one sandwich per person. We hope you enjoy.
It should be a great day of golf and fun and hopefully raising lots of money for Coast Shelter. We pray for no rain.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
