SINGLES MATCH PLAY - THANK YOU



Singles Match Play on 31st January and 7th February 2013 organised by Mollie & Jenny Chapman.


55 participated in the match play - 46 the first week and 48 the second week.  I hope these two days have been good practice for pennants and will encourage entries for the knock-out later in the year.

Owing to both illness and the floods in Queensland, there were about 12 cancellations during the two weeks.  On the other hand, six others rang looking for late entries.  Thank you to all those players for ringing in plenty of time for us to rearrange the draw before each day. 

Thanks you to everyone who played, all arriving ready to hit off before the allotted time.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December.
