Update from Jenny

Hi Everyone, I am very pleased to report that after lots of work with physios and occupational therapists I have been allowed to come home from Rehab. This I did yesterday, and once again I need to thank Colleen for being my taxi. It didn't take me long to realise that I now need to do a lot of resting and relaxing to feel normal again. I also have quite a few appointments with my GP, district nurses, day rehab and specialists but at least I get to sleep in my own bed while I do it. I would like to thank you all for the many messages, calls and cards I have received. Your support has most certainly helped me along the way. I look forward to catching up with you at some point in the post COVID19 era.  Maybe even on the golf course if I manage to work on my balance! Cheers, Jenny

Update from the Committee

Image
The Committee had an email 'meeting' earlier in the week and needless to say we are very happy that our course is now open for 9 hole social games.  We thank the Club management for making this decision.  It's great to see your names on the portal & we look forward to waving to you across the fairway. The course is also in amazing condition thanks to Wayne and the team.  All members can book online through the portal (up to two players only) or by ringing the Pro-shop. The ladies and men's committee are working together and monitoring whether we will be able to run competition alongside the social play. A decision will be made over the next two weeks. The district committee are in constant contact and any further information we can give will be forwarded on to all members. Our thoughts & good wishes go to Nicky & Chas as just when the course was reopening Nicky's Mum fell and broke her leg.  So you won't be seeing much of Nicky as she is with h...

As most are aware Jenny isn't on Facebook to see all your messages so I have been taking screenshots of them and emailing them. She has loved reading all your messages and wanted to say a big thank you xox

Hello From Jenny

Hello everyone Well I’m finally back on the coast and feeling very happy about that! After time in Gosford Hospital Emergency, Royal North Shore and Macquarie University Private I am now at Brisbane Waters in the Rehab section. Not bad – 4 hospitals in 4 weeks!! Thanks to you all for the cards, messages, emails and calls of support. I didn’t feel alone. I wasn’t always able to reply to them but received them all as I had people read them to me.   I’m not sure how long I’ll be here. I can’t have lots of visitors because of the virus but look forward to keeping in touch with emails, messages and calls. Just remember to take every day as it comes because you never know what might happen next!!! Cheers Jenny
