  Hi All,   Some more good news for a welcomed change; the course held up great today with the altered conditions and with another sunny day, its continually improving.   Just to ensure the improvement on the course, I would like to recommend that the Saturday 30 th , Sunday 31 st  , Tuesday 2 nd  and Thursday 4 th  are played as 9 hole comps, and we will extend to 18 hole competitions after this time, provide conditions remain the same and the course will be able to take double the foot traffic. If conditions stay as it, I don’t think we will have any problems.   For the 9 hole comps we will charge $1.50 for ball comp and $1.50 for prizes, which will be allocated as points as per normal For the 18 hole comps we will charge a$1.50 ball comp and $2.50 for prizes, which will be allocated as points as per normal   I hope everyone is onboard, and if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.   Have a great weekend ...

  Hi Everyone,   We finally have some good news; from tomorrow morning will be open again as a Par 3 course as previously discussed with everyone.   Paths of travel have been marked out with yellow paint GUR areas have been marked off with white paint Certain wet areas have been roped off with safety tape to try and keep people out Directional signs and chalk markings will also be utilised to help guide people to preferred paths of travel   We will be running 9 Hole competitions the Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, then look to increase up to 18 holes from then.   As mentioned previously, as the course begins to dry out, and other areas become playable the course will be extended, but this will need to be continuously assessed. Hi All,   The golf course will remain closed today. With the forecasted rain, and the amount of rain we have already had, please take this email as  course closed until further notice .  Wayne will continue assessing the course on a daily basis, however even after the rain stops, it will be a while before the water gets off the course. Hi All,   Unfortunately, we will need to keep the golf course closed over the weekend. It is still far too wet and unsafe to allow people out there. Wayne and myself will conduct an inspection on Monday morning 6:30am to assess where we go from there.   We are looking at designing a shortened course which would work around the worst parts of the golf course, resulting in all par 3’s, but allowing us to be able to potentially open up the course much earlier than when we would if we have to wait for the full course to be safe and playable.  The decision has been made to postpone our Charity day this Thursday due to two factors, 1: at this stage the course is still closed until Tuesday afternoon and if open on Thursday the course will not be pleasant, especially for a team event. 2: numbers of ladies coming in socially are down at present. So we feel we may be disappointed with what we may achieve financially on the day. We are leaving the tee sheet as is and if anyone would like to play on Thursday it will be single stableford. Please arrive at 8am and Nicky will advise you as to which tee to tee of from. We will advise you of the new date when we can.

Hi Ladies Sadly I need to advise that Toukley will have to postpone their upcoming Visitors & Charity Day that was scheduled to be held on 19th July 2022. I need to wait till the water on our course subsides so the greenstaff can assess the damage and advise me when we would be able to reschedule this event. Once this has happened, I will be back in touch and all of us at Toukley are hoping that you'll be available to play as we are looking forward to welcoming you to our course. Hi ladies the wrong tee sheet was put up for next week. It is now blocked wait till 7pm to book in on the correct sheet. 

  We Need Your Support to Raise Money For Our Charity! Ladies this is still going ahead next week even if the weather prevents us from playing golf. If golf goes ahead it will still be a shotgun start at 8am a team of 4 event count down stableford. Please check the blog next Wednesday for any updates as to what time the day will begin if golf doesn't go ahead. We have plenty of fun fundraising activities, so please bring lots of coins and small notes. Don't forget your pre loved clothes and golfing equipment which will be priced from $5.
