Open Day arrangements 1 October

Session 1: 7am for 7 30 Shotgun Start. On completion of your game, please                                        leave your score card at the Pro Shop, collect your                                        steak sandwich and enjoy. Proceed into the Club                                        to purchase raffle tickets, tea and coffee and to get                                        results for the morning session. Session 2: 11.30.            BBQ Lunch prior to game. 12 for 12 30 Shotgun Start Monday 26 October - 12 noon. Stableford Shootout Final. This should be a fun                                        Event. Please come and cheer the finalists on.                                        Afternoon tea will follow.  We need to know numbers                                        attending for catering. A list will be circulating please                                        make sure your name is on the list if you can come.

News Flash News Flash

Deanne Curby and Dee Barham represented Breakers Wamberal at Everglades Country Club on Monday 21st September in the Women's Fourball Championship District Final .  It was a 4BBB Par event. They came in with a great score of   +7,  which now qualifies them to represent the district at Bonville, Coffs Harbour, an all expenses paid event to a world class course. A truly wonderful achievement girls.

Vets Ball play called off 17 September 2015

All week the forecast had threatened rain and lightening to spoil our golf day. When the morning bought calm, mild weather perfect for golf we all thought we just might sneak the day in. Good scores seemed to be the order of the day and we all watched the sky with the hope that the storms would go around us allowing us to complete what would have been a high scoring day. It was not to be, we were called in when the threat of hail and lightening were too close to ignore. In light of today's turn of events please adjust your golf books to reflect the following alterations: Vets Ball will now be played next week - 24 September.  Those members who played today will only be required to pay $10 next week to compensate. $16 for those who did not play today. The daily raffle will also be held over until next week. The Challenge Cup Qualifier will now be held on 8 October. Captain vs President 4BBB 10 September

A field of 53 'hot' and 'cool' ladies enjoyed a fun day today in very pleasant playing conditions. The hotly contested honour of belonging to the winning team went to the hot Presidents team by a narrow margin from the cool Captain's team.  Best players were: Winners.   Anne Glance (23) and Sandra Kunze (23) with the great score of 46 points 2nd.          Veneice Higgin (30) and Lynne Cattaway (32) with 43 points 3rd.           Michelle Lee (29) and Di Connolly (27) with 42 on a count back from 4th.           Carol Stratford (40) and Nikky Draper (21) also with 42 5th.           Di Ind and Nareda Leary with 42 6th.           Gina Mesiti and Susan Muna with 41 on a count back 7th.           Jenny Chapman and Colleen Henry with 41on a count back 8th.           Charmaine Armbruster and Di Laws with 41 on a count back 9th.           Gai Catanzariti and Marilyn Armstrong with 41 10th.         Min Corner and Deanne Curby with 40 on a count back 11th.         M

The forecast of rain for today fortunately did not eventuate so the 47 starters in today's competition were able to enjoy fine weather and good course conditions.
