Image
Hi Ladies, We had 17 pairs play our 2BBB stableford today. Congrats to Bronwyn and Michelle who were top qualifiers, for the Gwen Thompson District day, with 42 points. See below for the other winners. Those with a Q next to their names will be our pairs to play at Magenta on 19th September. Lots of luck and enjoy your day ladies. Hopefully the forecast rain will not be too significant as we all know our course needs drying weather, not more water!! Also, please note that the last week of August, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our golf club with a planned luncheon on Thursday 25th and a mixed evening on Saturday 27th. Thursday 23rd June 2022 Results

It was a nice sunny day for our stroke round. The course was quite wet on some holes so we played a short course for the day. Results fro our Monthly Medal: https://golf.micropower.com.au/breakerscc/competition/prizes?CompetitionId=249628   Results for Vets Balls:  https://golf.micropower.com.au/breakerscc/competition/prizes?CompetitionId=249630 Please remember next week is a 2bbb pairs event so there will be one card per pair with your name and handicap on the top. At the end of the round just bring the card up to the club without scanning and handover to the committee. Charity Day We are going to offer our ladies the option to donate any golf clothing in good condition or golf gear they would like to bring and donate on the day to sell and the money will go to our charity. We would like you to bring any items on the day as we don't have room to store it before hand. If anything isn't sold on the day we then ask you to collect and take home.

Best of luck

Wishing Janice Adlard all the best and a big thank you for making her way up to the Vintage this morning after a very late call up to represent the CCWGA in the inter district match play against HRDGA.

AGM and COMMITEE

Good morning ladies Following on from our recent post regarding the election of committee, we would like to have a  get together/meeting to further discuss options and to hear your views. We have recently been advised that we do need to hold our AGM in July instead of October. This means we need to set in place nominations very soon. We thought tomorrow, Thursday 2nd June 2.00pm  would be suitable. This would give those golfing time to get in. Otherwise maybe you could come for lunch then meeting, or meeting then coffee. Hoping that you are able to attend. Cheers Colleen Henry President
