2BBB Gwen Thompson Qualifying +++


Hi Ladies,


We had 17 pairs play our 2BBB stableford today. Congrats to Bronwyn and Michelle who were top qualifiers, for the Gwen Thompson District day, with 42 points.

See below for the other winners. Those with a Q next to their names will be our pairs to play at Magenta on 19th September. Lots of luck and enjoy your day ladies.

Hopefully the forecast rain will not be too significant as we all know our course needs drying weather, not more water!!

Regarding our Toukley visit next Tuesday, a decision will be made asap as to whether this event is going ahead. We will let you know as soon as we do!

Also, please note that the last week of August, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our golf club with a planned luncheon on Thursday 25th and a mixed evening on Saturday 27th. More details to  come.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
