Presentation Day

Hi Ladies, Next week is the last chance to purchase your ticket ($25) for the Presentation Day luncheon on Thursday 13th December. Please see Deanne. Final numbers are required next Thursday.

Golf Cancelled

The golf for today has been cancelled.  Hope to see you all around 11:30am.

GOLF TOMORROW

We have spoken to Wayne and he tells us that all the bunkers will be out of play tomorrow.  This means that the event will not be handicapped. The course will be heavy at  best, bearing in mind the forecast suggests more heavy rain is on the way tonight.  The event is on at this stage but remember that we need 8 players to make it a competition. Check in the morning  from 6.45  for further updates. If you choose not to play, please come for lunch  from 11.30 . Please note that entries are being taken for CCWGA Opening Day at Shelly  Beach  on Monday 18th February . Event is a Team of 4, 2 scores and cost is $30 a head, including a buffet lunch. Only 36 teams, so first in best dressed! Also, don't forget to purchase your ticket ($25) for Presentation Day  on Thursday 13th December . Thanks, Colleen and Jenny

CCWGA 2 Day Tournament

Image
Well thats a wrap for another year! The 2 day tournament is done and dusted........... however our Jenny Chapman, who stood down today from Captain to Vice Captain, showed her happiness with how much the event was a success. I can tell you she had a look of relief on her face that she doesn't have to run the show next year ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜“ These photos kind of show her elation : Congratulations to all the Breakers ladies who played in the event. Special mention to Bronwyn Dwyer who was runner up in Division 2 over the 2 days and Nell Spargo 3rd in Division 2 for 18 holes on Tuesday. Also good news I won I ball ๐Ÿ˜‚

Social Event

For any ladies interested............ On the 3rd of December a group of ladies are looking at going down to Wendy whiteley's Secret Garden at North Sydney They will be catching a train to North Sydney then going across to the Kirribilli Club for lunch and then catching a train home. If any  ladies would like to join us we will probably catch a train from Gosford just after 9am.

Pink Day Results

Finally we have completed our Pink Day fundraiser. A big thank you to all for your generosity. We have raised $2300 to go to our Charity "Look Good Feel Better". It's amazing how a PINK BALL can cause so much stress! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ Some people were glad to see it disappear into the brown depth of our waters, others almost went to lengths of removing shoes and socks to get it back and then we had teams who guarded their ball and steered it home. There were plenty of laughs amongst the teams, apologies from  players who lost the pink ball and some good clean banter between teams. Results:
