 It was a tough day in the office today and the scores reflected this. Congratulations to the winners of both the 9 and 18 hole competitions. Remember, if you wish to play 9 holes, you must have a 9 hole partner. You can place yourselves anywhere in the field, not just at the end. Our new shirts are well underway and we are hoping for some subsidy from Mounties. Watch this space.  I am still hoping that someone has a little free time tomorrow morning and is willing to assist me in selling raffle numbers at the CCWGA Opening Day between 7:15 and 8:00. It's early, but will be over quickly. Thanks Jeanice

What a lovely day for golf today. The rain held off enough for us to get our Opening Day finished. There were 59 ladies out there in 15 teams, all vying for a prize. One team was particularly in form with a massive 90 points! Congratulations to the overall winners: Bronwyn Dwyer, Michelle Hughes, Deanne Curby and Colleen Henry. Runners up were: Sheryn Fuller, Gill Wilson, Jill Lavery and Vicki Duesbury with 87 on a countback. Balls went to: Veneice Higgin, Lynne Cattaway, Kerrie McInerney and Helen Ingle with 87. Jane Lumsden, Elaine Clarke, Mary Strada and Nancy Carey-Berryman with 83. Debie Lorking, Kerry Moore, Brenda Punter and Christa Cleary with 82. Aiki Harrigan, Peggy Searle, Sandra Nash and Viv Ball with 80. Bronwyn Dwyer blitzed the NTP's today winning the 2/11 and 6/15 prizes for her team and Trace O'Meara won the 4/13 for her team with a drive that ran over the hole (and she got the putt!). The raffles today were won by Denise Earthrowal, Vicki Duesbury and Jan Gee.

 Unfortunately, due to issues beyond our control, the presentation tomorrow will be in the Auditorium. It is also the presentation for Summer Comp.

 Morning all, I hope you are all looking forward to our Opening Day tomorrow. Just a reminder that it is a shotgun start at 7:30, so be there in plenty of time to get to your starting tee. Also there is a sandwich order available in the Pro Shop for $6.50. The choices are: Egg and lettuce Ham cheese and tomato Salad Chicken, lettuce and mayo Ham, cheese and pickles Our presentation will be downstairs in the Function Room. See you there!

 

 Just a quick reminder that the Central Coast Opening Day at Breakers on Monday 13th February still has 5 spots available. We would love to have a full field.  It's a shotgun start at 8:00 am and costs $30. What a stunning day. The wind kept the heat down for most of us. Congratulations to Gill Wilson with a score of 41 in the 18 hole comp, and also to Nell Spargo with a score of 19 in the 9 hole comp. All summer comp prizes will be presented next week along with Nicky's pro comp prizes. Opening day 9th February. This is a shot gun start 7 for 7.30. Stableford team of 4, 2 best scores to count. Get your teams in this afternoon, There will be a sandwich order, $6.50 through the till in the Pro Shop. Lets hope for a full field and great weather.
