Results 23rd February

 It was a tough day in the office today and the scores reflected this.

Congratulations to the winners of both the 9 and 18 hole competitions.

Remember, if you wish to play 9 holes, you must have a 9 hole partner. You can place yourselves anywhere in the field, not just at the end.

Our new shirts are well underway and we are hoping for some subsidy from Mounties. Watch this space.

Next week is a Stableford and Vets ball attached for both 9 and 18 holes. It will cost an extra $2 for this.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
