The 18 hole competition today was hard work. The course has held up well considering the rain during the week. Make sure you bring plenty of cash for cheat sheets and raffles. It should be a fun day! Also, congratulations to Michelle Hughes and her partner Nick Merritt for winning the Mixed Foursomes on Saturday. For those of you who were concerned about Deanne, she is recovering at home now. She has had tests in hospital following her turn on the course today, but all is well. We send her our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi ladies Brenda Punter has a MGI Buggy with battery  for sale! It has only been used 4 times so its in brand new condition. Only selling because to heavy to lift into her car boot. Brenda paid $1200 and is selling for $600!!! Please contact Brenda if you are interested.

 Any ladies who would like to play in the mixed foursomes and who do not have a partner are encouraged to contact Nicky in the Pro Shop by close of business on Tuesday. There are several male golfers who wish to play but do not have a partner. Also any mixed pair who still wishes to enter needs to contact Nicky also by close of business on Tuesday. This is a prestige event in the golfing calendar and the prizes are presented at the Men's Presentation night at the end of the season. You have to be in it to win it!!

Very hot conditions saw a reduced field for our Par event. 25 ladies played 18 holes and 6 ladies played 9 holes.  Congratulations to Deanne Curby for the best result of the day with +2.  A big thank you to the male members who laid our new path from the 8th bridge to the 9th concrete path. This path was paid for by the Ladies donation of $2000. This will make for a smother walk to the 9th/18th tee box.

Weather was cool for starters which was a nice change. Conditions were oppressive, especially on Monday. Some successful results were had. Well! Here we are in March already.  The course today was magnificent , which some scores indicated. Today we had 6 nine hole players. Nice to see we can accomodate these ladies to continue playing and join in socially.
