Breakers Opening Day 9th February

 Morning all,

I hope you are all looking forward to our Opening Day tomorrow. Just a reminder that it is a shotgun start at 7:30, so be there in plenty of time to get to your starting tee.

Also there is a sandwich order available in the Pro Shop for $6.50. The choices are:

Egg and lettuce

Ham cheese and tomato

Salad

Chicken, lettuce and mayo

Ham, cheese and pickles

Our presentation will be downstairs in the Function Room.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
