Stableford Shootout Results and 9 Hole Results19th September

Image
What a glorious day on the golf course. The 9 hole competition this morning was a warm up for those ladies who qualified for the Stableford Shootout starting at 11. Congratulations to Susan Frankham who had an amazing 22 points on the front 9. Well done Susan. The Stableford Shootout started with the 10 qualifiers on hole 1, reducing by one player each hole until there were two left to play the 9th. A feature of this year's shootout was the quality of play throughout from every player, and the lack of chip offs to eliminate someone. Congratulations to Peggy Searle who played a fantastic 9 holes, actually scoring 23 points. Runner up was Cheryl Baker.

Par, 12th September

Well...... The last group came in and Suzanne knocked everyone off - even Pauline on +4!! The scores didn't reflect the weather, with all the prize winners under par today. Next week is the Stableford Shootout. This is a shotgun start for 9 holes only, followed by the shootout at about 11 am. Come along and support those ladies who have performed well over the year. Afternoon tea will follow in the Club. If you have already paid for the Stableford Shootout at the start of the year, you can get in free. If you didn't pay your $10, Deanne will take it at the door. Aiki is still taking entries for the Club Championships which start on the 26th. It will be a "read only" time sheet, so if you want to just play in the daily 18 hole or 9 hole events. you will have to see Aiki to put your name down. The Committee is still looking for ladies to come on board and help with the running of our Club. Please consider what you can contribute- every little bit helps.
