All teams who played this week have automatically been put in going of results report. If you wish to play in the day event next week, please enter your name in the remaining tee booking spots. The two round winners will be announced next week at presentation. There was a problem with slow play this week it is the 4 members in the group to keep up with the group in front!!   Our Mystery Partner event went well with 49 ladies playing. Congratulations to our team event winners and individual winners. To finish of the day, it was a beautiful celebration of our friend Veniece. Let the computer worry about the team event. Just play a Single Stableford event scoring on the app. This Thursday everyone now has there partner for the Shotgun start. Please remember it is a 8am start so please arrive early enough to walk out to your hole. There will be single stableford with the team event. Everyone just plays there normal single stableford game (scoring on the app) and the computer works out the results for the team of 2 event. We have chosen a  "Pairs Special 6's event". This is a Stableford competition for a 2 player team. For the first 6 holes the individual scores are added up to form the team score. For the next 6 holes the individual scores are multiplied together and for the final 6 holes only the best score for each hole counts.

 Last Saturday night the mens golf club put on an event "Hippy Hippy Shake". Here are some photos for all to enjoy. Sally was presented with her trophy for the best overall score playing in the Challenge Cup. Brenda with her bottle of  bubbles for winning one of the putting comps.

 Put your name on the sheet tomorrow for the mystery partner draw which will be done after golf tomorrow. Being played on the 13th Aug. Also the sheet is there for the Creighton’s cup being played on 27th Aug and 3rd September. This is a 2bbb played over 2 weeks. If can only play one of the days the sheet is there to put your name on for the daily event. Both sheets will be in the Pro shop before golf and then in the club after golf ⛳️

After raising over $2200 ourselves, Mounties have pledged $2000 and with a further donation from the Men's Golf Club's Hippy Hippy Shake on Saturday 8th Aug, our contribution to the district charity can make us feel very proud.   Veneice Higgin 22/04/1952 - 28/07/2026 It is with a very heavy heart that I share the sad news of the passing of our beautiful friend Veniece. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. While our hearts are broken, we can take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace

  There will be 2 regististrtion sheets to put your name on. One is for the Mystery Partner Stableford event being held on 13th August. The draw will be done the week before. The other event is the Chreightons 2BBB being held over 2 weeks on 27th Aug and 3rd September.(originally on the calendar for the 10th). You will need a partner who can play both weeks!   Wow what a day! 56 ladies played in our Drop off Ambrose event. We also welcomed 7 visitors who joined us from Toukley and Shelly Beach. From the start it was a sea of colour with a lot of laughter and chatter. The purchase of cheat sheets was supported well, and I think finally ladies are learning how to use them to their advantage. A big thankyou to Aj who stayed for the whole event teeing of the 1st hole for anyone who paid a $2 donation.......... and take a look at the types of first shots he was delivering for us! Just a chip and a putt! Sheryn Fuller has a great throwing talent and technique, giving her team a 2 on the first after throwing out of the bunker straight in the hole! Our best dressed winners! Once the game was over we all went inside for lunch and raffles. The Committee would like to say a huge thank you to all the very generous donations of vouchers, wines and gifts from our ladies and men's committee for 2 Visa card vouchers. All Money going to our Charity Wyong Pallitative Care Unit. Our Charity Golf  Day tomorrow is looking to be perfect weather! We have so many amazing gifts that have been donated by our ladies aswell as donations from many companies from around the coast.  Sandwich orders will be available to pre order before your game in the Pro shop. Please bring cash in the morning with you as we will be selling $5 Cheat sheets, Aj will be on the 1st Hole Teeing of for a $2 donation per ball to give you that huge advantage! Raffle tickets will be available inside after golf 3 for $5 or 7 for $10. Second hand clothes available for $5 per item. NTP'S will be on each hole. This is a Team prize and 1st shot only on all 3 holes! Colour is the theme for the day!

 

 The course hasn't improved since last Thursday so we will stick with a Stableford till further notice.

CCWGA Unders and Overs Day at Everglades on the 27th July. They need more players otherwise they will have to cancel the day!

 Well, we could not fault the weather today! However, the course was extremely wet as shown in the results. We only had one division with 17 ladies playing 18 holes and 9 ladies played 9 holes. Congratulations to the winners.  Morning ladies after the rain we have had I have walked the course and after speaking with some of our committee we have decided to play a Stableford event tomorrow and have moved our Monthly Medal to the 9th July with the Vets ball. Hopefully this decision see field numbers stay up.

Due to the wet weather there are not enough players for a comp today. Therefore everyone is welcome to meet at the club for coffee at the usual time of 11am. Hope to see you all then.
