Pennants

The Banksia team with the opposition Wyong.
On another day when the Gods were on our side re the weather, rain was all around but not a drop on Wamberal and the course was in pristine condition for our visitors.

In  the Banksia pool our team had a win  5 1/2 to 1 1/2 against Wyong.  A very good win.
 
In the Wattle pool our team was unlucky to lose 4 1/2 to 2 1/2 to Toukley.

A big thank you  to the social committee for providing such a yummy morning tea.

There were lots of positive comments about the course and the new system at this early stage.....

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
