Stableford 4th District Brooch

It was a slightly smaller field today with 45 ladies teeing off ⛳. Perfect conditions for golf today with the sun shining and the course was offering some nice run ................ did you make the most of it or not?



Before I report on todays results we would like to Congratulate Michelle Lee and Colleen Henry on there fantastic 2nd Place in Canberra's Foursomes yesterday. Congratulations ladies you are making a name for yourselves down in Canberra "Wonderful Game " 👌👏.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
