Patricks Dice Day at Gosford

We have an invitation to play in Gosfords Dice Day. 

Date:               Tuesday, 17th March
Time:               8am shot-gun start - 7.30 arrival
Cost:                $25 per player 
Dress:              Green or orange - teams are welcome to dress up
Format:           Stableford team of 4 with 2 scores to count - Team prizes

o   Each team  is given a dice
o   Team members are allocated a number 1, 2, 3 or 4 as they are listed on the scorecard 
o   All 4 players tee off 
o   The dice is then rolled 
o   Take the drive according to the number rolled: 1 = player 1's drive, 2 = player 2's drive, 3 = player 3's drive and 4 = player 4's drive 
o   If a 5 is rolled take the worst drive 
o   If a 6 is rolled take the best drive 
o   Each player then plays their own ball from that point to complete the hole
o    2 scores to count on every hole 
Morning tea:  On arrival
Lunch:              A choice of reasonably price pre-paid options 
Raffles:            The profits will go to our charity Central Coast Kids in Need 

Michelle H will be collecting teams and money from tomorrow after golf.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
