CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION LUNCHEON

Wasn't it great to be able to celebrate the end of this unbelievable year with a lovely get-together on Thursday.

 It was terrific to see everyone in their finery enjoying the occasion and appreciating the Championship and Veterans winners who were presented with their prizes. It was also nice to be able to catch up with some of our "golden oldies" who were able to join us again. 

Congratulations yet again to Michelle for organising this different event. Let's
hope things will get back to normal next year and we can include our usual continuous competitions.

Don't forget that the Summer Comps are open on the computer. (Change the date at the top on the portal to access them all!) 

Also, I hope you have remembered to either spend all your points or transfer them to your Pearl Rewards card, if you have one. Remember that points fall off at the end of the year.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
