Bob Whittle's Funeral

As you will be aware Bob Whittle's funeral is tomorrow Friday 22nd January at Greenway Chapel. With the limited number of people attending allowed, the Breakers Club is going to live stream the service.

It will be in the Function Room downstairs and a special dispensation for early entry from about 9:45am has been given to allow for a 10 am start.

There will be some copies of the Order of Service available.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
