 Wow! Check out the scores today!  Gee Deanne, did the computer like you?! Lucky we aren't sending the scores to golflink. We actually used the rain and the cancelled comp to practise both the 2Ball aggregate event and the use of the scanner inside the club. The good news is that both worked but of course the scores are fabricated.

This means that in future, on Thursdays, we will ask all players to  bring their cards into the club and scan them, checking scores as we used to do, just outside the golf office. No scanning will happen on Thursdays in the pro shop until further notice. 

Don't forget that the timesheet for our Opening Day on Thursday 11th Feb, is available this afternoon. You will note that we have been allowed to have a shotgun start on this day.

Also, those playing in the District Opening Day should be able to see your times from early next week.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
