Thursday Comp 25th March

 Good morning ladies I have just finished a Grounds meeting at the club. The course is closed till Friday therefore cancelling our comp tomorrow after over 500mls of rain in the last week. 

If any ladies could help out for the March on Soldier fundraiser being held tomorrow at the club by walking a lap of our local area.  We already have some volunteers however some more would be really appreciated. If you are interested feel free to contact the club or let someone from the ladies committee know so we can organise a time for you to complete the lap. Please see map below:


Postponed

Also a decision has been made by the Men's match committee to postpone the Mixed Foursomes Championships this Saturday. A new date will be chosen ASAP.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
