We had some very SLOW play today. Everyone needs to be mindful that we need to speed up play.

Send two people ahead where you can.

 4 People should not be looking for a lost ball and you only have 3min to do this. If you are not certain where your ball has landed hit a provisional before leaving the tee.

If your ball goes into a water hazard, hit another ball before retrieving it.

Walking to your ball as quickly as possible. 

It might not seem like much however these simple etiquette practices will speed up play. We are all out there to enjoy our golf and need to be mindful of our goal to finish 18 holes in roughly 4hrs.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. The link to that page is below: https://fundraise.hollows.org/fundraisers/jennychapman   The Fred Hollows Foundation works in over 25 countries and has helped over 3 million people. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
