Results Thursday 29th July

 What a beautiful day to play golf!! The scores are reflecting how well the course is drying out. Well done to the winners.

Since we haven't been together for so long, I thought we should celebrate those ladies who have had birthdays this month.

7th was Viv Ball, we all saw her balloon as we went to the first tee. Then 10th Moya Allen, 14th Christa Cleary, 20th Jenny Fletcher, 22nd Jan Portelli, 23rd Charmaine Armbruster and 24th Dee Dimond.

Happy Birthday to all these lovely July ladies!



Another of our ladies is leaving us this week. We say goodbye to Di Jackson who is heading off to sunny Queensland to live. We wish you good golfing in your new home and will certainly miss your smiling face around the course Di.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
