Shelly Beach Blue Water Classic Mon 9th Aug

A Shelly Beach Womens committee decision has been made to postpone our Blue Water Classic and Long Markers Cup which were scheduled to be played on Monday 9th August. Our new date is Monday the 20th September when hopefully lockdown will be over, we are back playing in 4’s and we can hold a Presentation. We will hold everyone’s entry over but should anyone not be able to play or want a refund then please email our Treasurer, Julie Phillpot at sbgcladies@gmail.com with your bank details ( account name, bsb and account number)and she will refund your entry fee. ⛳️👍

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
