A letter from the Club

Morning ladies you will of all received this email from the club. It is important to read the information because it needs to be responded to. If you have any enquiries or queries please forward them to the club. Please use the email given in the email.



Dear Golfing member,

As you would be aware the NSW Government has eased some restrictions and they are aiming for a 70% fully vaccinated to allow the state to reopen.

With this in mind the club is still governed by the rules set by the state government and NSW health and we are still waiting on rulings which will allow us to resume our normal golf competitions and for the reopening of the club.

We have been working with Micropower to upgrade a category of membership which will allow us to return to groups of four for golf competitions inline with the changes that were introduced on the 13th September 2021.

To assist us with complying with the current restrictions and to allow the golf committee to resume 18 hole competitions we are asking those who wish to play 18 holes and in groups of four and to comply with the government guidelines to provide us with documentation that you have been fully vaccinated. Should you have a medical exemption we ask you to provide us with documentation to support your exemption.

We ask you to email info@breakerscc.com this information which will allow us to change your membership category to allow you to play in groups of four. We will destroy your documentation after updating your membership category. This complies with the clubs Privacy Policy which is available on the clubs website.

We envisage to start bookings of four once we have obtained notification of  80% of financial golfing members fully vaccinated documentation. Our estimated date of return is the 30th September 2021 unless we can reach this figure earlier.

We will continue to provide a 9 hole competition in groups of two for those who are not fully vaccinated until further notice. Ours social bookings will also remain in groups of two at 5 minute intervals until further notice.

Your Board of Directors and golf committee are encouraging all members to be fully vaccinated and the quicker we receive your documentation the quicker we will be able to resume normal rounds of golf.

In addition to recommencing golf we are also looking forward to resuming normal trade within the clubhouse and are currently working on some exciting promotions to celebrate our reopening.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
