Ladies Results 30th September 2021

 Well! That was Par! There were some good scores as you would expect with the run still there and the sun shining all day. Don't get down on par events, the worst score you can get is 18 points if you wipe every hole.

Some reminders for the next few weeks:

*Michelle is still taking entries for the Championships. Last day to enter is next Thursday. $5 for the three weeks and $3 for the Vets two weeks. Money in an envelope and name on the sheet in the Pro Shop.

*There will be no Medley competition for the next two Saturdays, 9th and 16th October. The men are having their championships on those days. There will be social play available after 3 pm.

*Once the Pro Shop opens fully we will have to scan our own cards. Nicky, A. J., Jenny and others have been manually entering our cards every week during lockdown (and forgiving our mistakes.)

Once the scanner is back in use, you will be responsible for your score. Please make sure you check your card with your marker and then check the crosses are in the right box. 

The scanner is nowhere near as forgiving as the humans!!!!!

This week's birthday girls are Nell Spargo on Sunday 26th and Trace O'Meara on Wednesday 29th. (Did you see Trace's new golf bag? Very nice.) We hope you both had a wonderful day.

What a fabulous day for golf!! It was especially fabulous for those who played 27 holes.  Today is the first time in quite a few years that this event has not had to be postponed, so a big sigh of relief and another event ticked off the calendar for 2023. Today's full results are in the link below. The Championship prizes will be presented on Presentation Day on 7th December. Tributes for Mollie Chapman

Afternoon everyone, Some of you may wish to show your sorrow at Mollie's passing. Rather than inundate Jenny and her family with flowers, the CCWGA has suggested a donation to Mollie's favourite charity. She was a long time supporter of the Fred Hollows Foundation and in discussions with her family, it was decided that perhaps setting up a fundraising page in Mollie's honour would be appropriate. Their focus in Australia is to eliminate avoidable blindness in the Indigenous population. All donations, no matter how small, in Mollie's name will add to her legacy.
